Marco Roth, the co-founder of N+1, has written a monumental memoir about a cultured and comfortable childhood fractured by his father’s struggle with AIDS. Mary Karr called The Scientists of the “best memoirs I’ve read in years.” Lorin Stein, editor of the Paris Review, wrote of the book, “This is the first intellectual autobiography that I've read by someone our age in the searching, 19th-century tradition of Edmund Gosse or Henry Adams: the autobiography equally of a reader and of a son, grappling with an inheritance that is both intellectual and emotional.”

He will be joined by Keith Gessen, N+1 co-founder and author of All The Sad Young Literary Men.
