Chen Guangcheng, the blind activist lawyer recently permitted to leave China, is currently a visiting scholar at New York University School of Law. Jerome A. Cohen is Professor of Law and co-director of the U.S.-Asia Law Institute at New York University School of Law and was active in securing Chen Guangcheng’s release.
