BOOKFORUM Presents: Strange Bedfellows

Readings by:

Thomas Frank is the author of "Pity the Billionaire," "The Wrecking Crew," "What's the Matter with Kansas?" and "One Market Under God." He is the founding editor of The Baffler and a contributing editor at Harper's.

Rachel Kushner’s debut novel, "Telex from Cuba," was a finalist for the 2008 National Book Award and the Dayton Literary Peace Prize, winner of the California Book Award, and a New York Times bestseller and Notable Book. Her new novel, "The Flamethrowers" is forthcoming from Knopf this spring.

Rhonda Lieberman is a frequent contributor to Artforum and Bookforum.

George Saunders is the bestselling author of "CivilWarLand in Bad Decline", "Pastoralia", "In Persuasion Nation," and most recently, "Tenth of December: Stories."

Choire Sicha is the editor of The Awl. His first book, "Very Recent History: An Entirely Factual Account of a Year (c.2009 A.D.) in a Large City," will be out in August.
