Samhita Mukhopadhyay is a strategist at Purpose a social innovation and creative agency and the executive editor of Feministing. She’s also author of the book, Outdated: Why Dating is Ruining Your Love Life an intervention to mainstream dating and romance narratives.

Mandy Stadtmiller is the deputy editor of xojane.

Mike Thomsen is a writer in New York. His work has appeared in The New Inquiry, The Atlantic,The Believer, Bookforum, and The Daily Beast. He’s author of the sex memoir Levitate the Primate: Handjobs, Internet Dating, and Other Issues for Men.

Emily Witt is writing a book about female sexuality. She has written for n+1, The London Review of Books, New York Magazine, and The New Republic.

And will be moderated by:

Adrian Chen is an editor at The New Inquiry and a staff writer at Gawker. He’s the author of “Unmasking Reddit’s Violentacrez, The Biggest Troll on the Web.”

We’ll get started at 7 pm with doors at 6:30. The panel is free and there will even be some complimentary wine. Afterwards we’ll head to a bar to be announced for more drinks and more conversation.
