This lecture will concern the role that social media is playing in contemporary Russia and will be of interest to students in media studies, global affairs, politics and foreign languages.
Evgeny Gusiatinsky is a well-known film and media critic working in Moscow, Russia. A graduate of the premier film school in Russia, The All-Russian State Institute for Cinema or VGIK, and an international authority on Russian cinema, he has published many articles and reviews in academic film journals as well as in the mass media.
