Join Justin Taylor, whose newest collection of stories, Flings, Alice Nutting describes as possessing a “smarting beauty” which “rewards the reader with revelation time and time again,” and his friend Adam Wilson, for a conversation about the existential crises that plague their characters. Part of McNally Jackson’s Literary BFFs series, hosted by David Gutowski (a.k.a. Largehearted Boy).

Justin Taylor is the author of the story collection Everything Here Is the Best Thing Ever and the novel The Gospel of Anarchy. Flings, a new story collection, will be published by Harper Collins on August, 19th 2014. He is the co-editor of The Agriculture Reader, a limited-edition arts annual now in its sixth year. He lives in Brooklyn.

Adam Wilson is the author of the short story collection What’s Important is Feeling and the novel Flatscreen, a National Jewish Book Award finalist. His stories have appeared in The Paris Review, Tin House, and The Best American Short Stories, among many other publications. In 2012 he received the Terry Southern Prize, which recognizes "wit, panache, and sprezzatura" in work published by The Paris Review. He teaches creative writing at New York University and lives in Brooklyn.
