Taking its title from a 2009 exhibition at the New Museum, this panel brings together six millennial curators who work both inside and outside of institutional settings to discuss how they have dealt with the mechanisms of youth, novelty and the market. Panelists include Director of Exhibitions at Independent Curators International Alaina Claire Feldman, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art for the Brooklyn Museum of Art Rujeko Hockley, independent curator and critic David Everitt Howe, curator of the Artist’s Institute at Hunter College Jenny Jaskey, independent curator and writer Piper Marshall and artist, writer, and curator Chris Wiley.
