In his first-ever American tour, Japanese comic and illustration artist Jiraiya talks to Chip Kidd about the manga and freehand photo-realistic illustrations of hyper-masculine Asian men that have won him praise and popularity at home and are now beginning to reach English-speaking audiences. In addition to speaking about his style, process and career, Jiraiya will give a live demonstration.
