The Girls’ Justice Conference brings together interdisciplinary champions for girls to focus on research and the practices and policies needed to improve girls’ well-being and outcomes.

The New York State Permanent Judicial Commission on Justice for Children, in partnership with the New York University Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development’s Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and the Transformation of Schools, is convening Girls’ Justice: A Conference for Child Welfare, School and Justice Practitioners on July 20, 2016, to not only raise awareness of the stark statistics and issues facing girls at risk or in the justice system but also to introduce instruments and strategies that address their gender-specific needs.
