Everywhere I Look is Helen Garner’s newest essay collection. Spanning 10 years and wide range of subjects, it encompasses both journalistic investigation and acute introspection. According to The Atlantic, "[Garner] doesn't merely listen. She watches, imagines, second-guesses, empathises, agonises. Her voice—intimate yet sharp, wry yet urgent—inspires trust." Helen Garner is a writer of both fiction and nonfiction, as well as film and theatre. She is a recipient of the 2016 Windham-Campbell Prize for nonfiction. She will be joined by Ben Lerner, most recently the author of the book-length critical essay The Hatred of Poetry, as well as the acclaimed novels 10:04 and Leaving the Atocha Station.
