Private / Public sovereignty: articulations of law and capital in an African postcolony

This lecture analyzes current articulations of national and trans-national governance, new rounds of accumulation and simultaneous social inclusion and exclusion, taking Mozambique as a case study.

Juan Obarrio is Associate Professor of Anthropology at Johns Hopkins University.
